Derby Safeguarding Children Board

Parents looking after children

The Derby Safeguarding Children Board is made up of senior people from the key agencies that work with children, young people and their families. Our aim is to work together to keep children and young people in Derby safe from abuse or harm at home and in our communities.

This site provides information for the public, children, young people, parents, carers and professionals - please use the menu bar on the left of the page to explore the site.

This website is still under development and will be updated to include:

  • Information for children and, young people and their families
  • An electronic system for practitioners who work or volunteer with children who want to book onto our safeguarding children training courses

A detailed explanation of what the Derby Safeguarding Children Board does and how this is achieved is set out in the Governance Document (pdf, 410kb).
